Like you, I want to use what I have. Now I've gotten all engrossed reading your blog posts! I just love scrappy quilts and simple 4 or 9 patch are my favorite. These are beautiful - I think any color you have will look good in a sashing, you could do plain or hourglass blocks. It will pull out the colors from the blocks.Shelina (formerly known as Shasta)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03290945204269323129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18538999.post-43056053013335505102010-01-08T18:59:24.052-05:002010-01-08T18:59:24.052-05:00You're right - they are pretty. How about a row of 6 squares sandwiched between 2 neutral strips - sort of a triple sashing. Not sure if I've explained that right - lol !Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11444423403574283524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18538999.post-59385811022436528172010-01-08T14:58:45.699-05:002010-01-08T14:58:45.699-05:00I really like these blks!! then again, I love to s...I really like these blks!! then again, I love to see all the colours play well with each other, so..... lol!! I used various neutrals for the sashing. As far as sashing goes, I am seeing something bright, like a hot pink or lime green, but I like those colors, so that may not work for you. Maybe red if you don't like brights?Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11264008817537561201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18538999.post-34198970616556487102010-01-08T13:03:53.384-05:002010-01-08T13:03:53.384-05:00I have a similiar project with crumb blocks and I&...I have a similiar project with crumb blocks and I'm thinking scrappy red fabric for sashing.Saskahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14316697509986535586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18538999.post-74258851807841369802010-01-08T12:15:38.445-05:002010-01-08T12:15:38.445-05:00I think they look great.
