Green progress...

Even though I haven't posted anything "quilty" lately, I have been sewing - mostly on my Green Ocean Waves. I first posted about this top on May 10th - at that time I only had 5 blocks done and 2 more 1/2 done. I've been picking away on this project and now have all 18 blocks done, 8 of the 1/2 blocks done (the other 2 just need 1 seam each) and have just a few more seams left on the 4 corner pieces! I am so very happy with this top that I will keep it for myself! Hopefully I will be able to finish it up before the summer ends. So, that's my GREEN Project Spectrum update (green was the color theme for the month of May - so I am a bit behind, but all those triangles take just about forever and a day to piece!). Posted by Picasa

Love the green quilt in progress Evelyn! It certainly can be an ongoing thing, cause that's alot of triangles.

I've been wanting to to a Lake of The Lake, and have been thinking maybe in green and greeny blues...hmmmmmm

Your green quilt looks lovely :-) Congratulation on a coffee maker you can speak to - good coffee is important when you don't drink it very often !

THe greens are just beautiful and I am truly impressed by all those triangles. I am currently collecting greens for a quilt. I saw a picture of one that had red lady bugs appliqued on the border and fell in love with the idea.

I love these greens - I made a two color ocean waves quilt for my sister but I like scrappy quilts better.

Nice green ocean waves! Are you thinking about quilting a motif in the center of each white square, in green?

I love this top, a great way to decide what to do with scraps when you are stumped, put them together using just one color family. Can't wait to see it finished.
