Kid Approved!
Inspired by a quilt that Mary showed in January (Making Scrap Quilts from Stash), I've started to make my own version - here is my progress so far. I cut the novelty 6.5", the stars and waves 4.5" and the red 2.5". So far, so good - it has Little Boy's stamp of approval!

He certainly looks happy about that one, but who would not like those boats!
That Little Boy is one happy kid. I love seeing his smiling face. It's been fun seeing him grow up in blogville.
It looks like it's going to be a great quilt for your son. The mittens look good too.
He is just too cute!
It's cute! I do add the skinny accents on both sides of my 2.5 inch strip but whatever works for you is great. I love these strippy quilts!
ah, an easy quilt that shows off the fabrics...way to go Evelyn! love LB's grin.
That Little Boy is one cutie-patootie. He loves everything that you do, Mom! This quilt is great, I'm into stash-bustin' lately.

And how could he not approve! It's terrific!
What a precious little boy. I have a special place in my heart for little boys since I raised two of them. Your strippy, scrappy quilt is going to be wonderful.
