Last Day of Summer

Today is the last day of summer... and we spent a good part of it outdoors. It was one of those perfect "fallish" days - bright blue sky, crisp air, a bit of a breeze... We went here - www.capejourimain.ca . This is a photo of The Confederation Bridge which connects New Brunswick to PEI (it is 12.9 kilometers long and opened in 1997).

And looking the other way - there is a lighthouse out on that tip.

Wow beautiful pictures and area! Some day I have to visit that part of the world! Oh I always have so many more places I want to visit than time or money!!! :)

Gorgeous view, Evelyn! The Confederation Bridge looks as though it disappears into the horizon. Oh the technology and brains that built it!

(One certainly would not want to find that they've forgotten something back home and have to turn around mid-way on that bridge!) ;-)
